Building off the AI for Echosounder data workshop, there is a two-week Computer Vision for Ecology Workshop (cv4e). The aim is to work with computer scientists/machine learning experts to apply existing AI models to challenging, messy ecological data sets. Applications for January 2027 are not open yet, but I expect it to open soon. I went this past January and happy to chat more with folks about my experience, either in person at the workshop or via email (shdolan@ucsd.edu).
