Dear WGFAST Community,
I am writing to announce a new position we are hiring for through the Cooperative Institute for Marine Ecosystems and Climate (CIMEAS), associated with the attached project announcements. It is for a data scientist to use AI/ML techniques for improving echo classification of small pelagic fishes (SPF) off the U.S. West Coast.
The position will be located at NOAA’s Southwest Fisheries Science Center in San Diego, CA, and applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents.
