During WGFAST 2026 we have discussed the convenience of creating a mesopelagic subgroup to discuss all the ~~nightmares~~ problems related to swimbladders of mesopelagic species. We are adding our names [here](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wI1bxEFMzy7FvmnM4NTCjHVNNRgLwP4eCo0CGa-Xjdo/edit?usp=sharing) to have our contact info so anybody interested please sign in!
